Pour all ingredients into shaker. Fill a Tumbler almost full of ice cubes, and dump ice into shaker. Shake well and pour drink into Tumbler.

KAHLUA BANANA

  • 8 oz. (24.0 cl) Ice Cream, Vanilla
  • 1.25 oz. (3.8 cl) BOLS Coffee

Mix in: White Wine Glass

Blend recipe with 1/2 a ripe banana

KAHLUA BANANA CREAM FIZZ

  • 2 oz. (6.0 cl) Kahlua®
  • 1 oz. (3.0 cl) Rum
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Banana
  • 3/4 oz. (2.3 cl) Lime Juice

Mix in: Collins Glass

Except soda, blend everything for 30 sec with 1 cup ice. Pour into glass and top with soda.

Mix in: Collins Glass

Pour equal Kahlua and Irish cream liqueur over ice and top with club soda in a tall glass. Garnish with a dash of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Aih, laddie, it will sizzle your Irish blood.

Drink (or throw away) one half of a 1.5 liter. bottle of Coke. Then simply pour the wine into the bottle, slowly, so that it gets full. Do not shake the bottle, but simply turn it over a couple of times.

Make this drink fresh in a large batch and serve chilled. Mix fresh cranberries with 1/10 fresh blackberries and 1/10 fresh lemon juice. in a muslin bag, crush together until all juice is strained out. Then mix with vodka and leave to stand for 2 days, strain again and chill to be served as individual glasses.

KNICKERBOCKER COCKTAIL

  • 3/4 oz. Dry (4.5 cl) Vermouth
  • 1/4 tsp. Sweet (1 ml) Vermouth

Shake everything but sprite in shaker w/ ice. Pour into glass and top with sprite and stir. Should be a greenish blue color.

KVAS

  • 500 g. (50.7 cl) Rye Bread
  • 8 l. (8.112 lt) Water
  • 25 g. (2.5 cl) Yeast
  • 225 g. (22.8 cl) Sugar
  • 4 tbs. (6.0 cl) Water
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Lemon
  • 2 tbs. (3.0 cl) Raisins
  • 2 (6.0 cl) Peppermint Extract

Put the slices of rye-bread in the oven (200 degrees Celsius) for about 45 mins, until they're dried. Boil the 8 liters of water. Crumble the dried rye-bread, put it in the boiling water for about 5 mins. Let it the water, and rye-bread rest for 4 hours, covered with a tea-cloth. Crumble the yeast, 15 mins before the 4 hours are over. Mix the crumbled yeast with some sugar and the luke warm water. Let it rest for 15 mins. Filter the water-rye-bread mix in a kitchen sieve. Carefully extract all water from the rye-bread. Wash, and peel the lemon. Add the lemon-peel, the sugar, the yeast and the peppermint. Stir the solution, and let it rest (covered) for 8 hours. Sieve the solution (tea-cloth). Bottle it. Put some raisins, a bit of lemon-peel, and a fresh leaf of peppermint in every bottle, close the bottles, and keep them in a cool place. Ready when the raisins start floating. Sieve the stuff one more time in a tea-cloth. Put the Kvas in the fridge 4 hours before drinking.
