SAINT PAUL

  • 1 Part (3.0 cl) Gin
  • 1 Part (3.0 cl) Bacardi Light Rum®
  • 4 (12.0 cl) Ice
  • 1 dash (1 ml) Angostura Bitters

Mix in: Highball Glass

Take a tall glass, put a few ice cubes on top of each other. Pour the Gin and the rum in the glass, Fill the glass with bitter lemon. Leave some of the ice over the surface, so that you can pour the angostura on top of it. It should leave a rather nice track of red down the ice cubes.

Combine ingredients given with a teaspoon of sugar in a shaker half-filled with ice. Strain into a chilled flute garnished with a sugar rim colored in red with grenadine. Serve with 2 straws.

  • 1 Fifth (76.8 cl) Red Wine
  • 1 oz. (3.0 cl) Brandy

  • 1 tbs. (1.5 cl) Sugar
  • 1 l. (1.014 lt) Club Soda
  • 20 Slices (60.0 cl) Mixed Fruit

Mix in: Punch Bowl

Combine alcohols (including wine), sugar and fruit. Refrigerate for 8 or more hours. Add Club Soda, stir and serve. The Brandy and Triple Sec are optional. The fruit should be a combination of orange, lemon and lime slices and pineapple chunks. For a white Sangria, substitute white wine for red.

SANGRIA (1)

  • ml. (ml.) Burgundy Wine
  • 6 oz. (18.0 cl) Orange Juice

Cut and squeeze lime and oranges. Mix ingredients in pitcher and ser over ice.

SANGRIA - THE WORLD'S BEST

  • 1.5 l. (1.521 lt) cabernet sauvignon
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Sugar
  • 4 oz. (9.0 cl) Brandy
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Lemon
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Orange Slice
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Apples

Mix these altogether in a large container, stir, and let sit for 18-24 hours. Yes, I know that's a LONG time, but it's well worth the wait. A much more delightful sangria is produced when the fruit juice blends with the wine by osmosis than by stirring. (By the way, you should let it sit in the refrigerator during this long interim). When you are ready to drink it 18-24 hours later, stir it up again, and add sugar or brandy to taste, it should be fairly strong and fairly sweet, almost syrupy. Then, cut the mixture with some sort of bubbly water, orange or lemon flavored if possibly, but plain bubbly water is fine, until it seems to have a thinner, more wine like consistency. Drink and enjoy.

SCOOBIE SNACK (SHOOTER)

  • 2 tbs. (3.0 cl) Whipped Cream
  • 0.75 oz. (2.3 cl) Melon liqueur
  • 0.75 oz. (2.3 cl) Pineapple Juice
  • 1.5 oz. (4.5 cl) Malibu Coconut Rum

Mix in: Shot Glass

Add ingredients to an ice filled shaker. Shake very well. Strain into double shot glass. Will look green & creamy. Roobie-doobie-doo! Note: in a pinch you can substitute 1 oz. cream & a splash of soda for whipped cream.

Pour scotch in a highball glass over ice cubes. Fill with carbonated water, stir, and serve.

Mix in: Highball Glass

Stir in a highball glass and fill with Club Soda. Garnish with a slice of lime.

SCOTCH SMASH

  • 3 oz. (9.0 cl) Scotch
  • 0.5 oz. (1.5 cl) Honey
  • 0.05 oz. (2 ml) Orange Bitters

Mix in: Old Fashioned Glass

Muddle 8 mint leaves with honey, add crushed ice and recipe and stir

SCOTCH SOUR

  • 1 1/2 oz. (2 ml) Scotch
  • Juice of 1/2 (juice of 1/2) Lime
  • 1/2 tsp. Powdered (2 ml) Sugar
  • 1/2 slice (1.5 cl) Lemon
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Cherry

Mix in: Whiskey Sour Glass

Shake scotch, juice of lime, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with 1/2 slice lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

SCOTCH SOUR (2)

  • 2 oz. (6.0 cl) Scotch
  • 1.5 tbs. (4.5 cl) Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 tsp. (2.3 cl) Sugar

Mix in: Highball Glass

Combine over ice, shake, strain into glass and garnish with a slice of lemon and cherry. [A whiskey sour with scotch whiskey instead.]

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake and strain into glass. Add ice.

SIMA

  • 5 (15.0 cl) Water
  • 1 1/2 (4.5 cl) Sugar
  • 1 1/2 (4.5 cl) Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 (4.5 cl) Beer
  • 1 (3.0 cl) Lemon
  • 2 tsp. (8 ml) baking yeast
  • 6 (15.0 cl) Raisins
  • 1 tbs. (1.5 cl) Sugar

Mix in: Pitcher

Boil water, sugars, beer and the yellow part of the lemon's peel. Let the mixture cool down. Peel the white part of the lemon's peel carefully and cut the fruit part of the lemon in small pieces and add to sima. Dissolve the yeast in a bit of sima and add to sima. Put 5-6 raisins and 1 tablespoon sugar in every bottle. Put sima in bottles and close the bottles carefully. Leave sima in a cold place for a couple of days. Sima is ready when the raisins float. Sima will keep in cold place for 1-2 weeks.

Take the vodka in first, then orange juice and sprite. Then you take some dashes of grenadine and stir it around for 20 sec. On the top of it you have a little dash of Strawb.marg.mix. Add ice cubes.

  • 3 tbs. (4.5 cl) Fruit Juice
  • 1 tbs. (1.5 cl) Sugar

Let tea steep for at about 5 mins so it's nice and strong. After tea is cool, mix together the remaining ingredients. Add more sugar and/or lemon juice to suit your taste. Some flavors may need more juice concentrate. You probably won't be able to perfectly match your favorite flavors, but you'll save a lot of money and you may create a new favorite. Also, you can make it exactly as sweet or tart as you like and you have a use for those 16 oz bottles (recycling at its best).

SPANISH CHOCOLATE

  • 2 (6.0 cl) Milk
  • 2 oz. (6.0 cl) Chocolate Shavings
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 ml) Cinnamon

Mix in: Irish Coffee Cup

Stir the milk with the chocolate and the cinnamon over low heat until the chocolate dissolves. Add the eggs and beat the mixture until it becomes thick, taking care not to boil.

SPANISH COFFEE

  • 1 Wedge (3.0 cl) Lemon
  • 1 tbs. (3.0 cl) Brandy
  • 1.5 oz. (4.5 cl) Kahlua®
  • Sugar

Mix in: Highball Glass

Rub lemon around the rim of the glass, then dip into a dish of sugar. In front of and alcohol burner or sterno, rotate the glass over the flame to caramelize the sugar. Place spoon on glass to prevent cracking. Warm brandy in a pan or a chafing dish. Pour into glass and ignite. Add jigger of Kahlua and ignite. Pour in hot coffee, leaving about 1 1/2. Add whipped cream, level to the top of the glass.

  • dash (0 ml) Nutmeg (Ground)

Rim coffee glass with cinnamon and sugar. Add 151 Rum and ignite. Sprinkle nutmeg and cinnamon for effect and let heat for 10-20 seconds. The heat will caramelize the sugar rim. Keep it lit while adding the Triple Sec, Kahlua and coffee. Extinguish with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon.

Mop up any spills on the bar with a rag and squeeze into a shot glass.

SWEATY IRISHMAN

  • 1/2 oz (1.5 cl) Jameson's Irish whiskey
  • 1/2 oz (1.5 cl) Hot Damn® Cinnamon Schnapps
  • 1 dash (1 ml) Tabasco® Sauce

Mix in: Shot Glass

Pour whiskey and cinnamon schnapps into shot glass. Add dash of Tabasco.

SWEATY MEXICAN LUMBER JACK

  • 3/4 oz. (2.3 cl) Yukon Jack®
  • 1/4 oz. (8 ml) Jose Cuervo® Tequila
  • 4 drops (4 ml) Tabasco® Sauce

Mix in: Shot Glass

Fill the shot glass 3/4 with Yukon Jack. Next fill the rest of the shot glass with Tequila. Last add 3 to 4 drops of Tabasco sauce.
